In a surprising move, Twitter head Elon Musk has announced that he is considering acquiring Bud Light following the recent fiasco involving the beer company’s controversial slogan, “The perfect beer for removing ‘no’ from your vocabulary.”
Musk, who is known for his eccentric business ideas, seems to have taken an interest in the world of alcohol. “I believe that Bud Light has a lot of potentials, and I think we can turn things around for them,” said Musk in a recent tweet.
Many were initially skeptical of Musk’s interest in the beer industry, but he quickly dispelled any doubts by pointing out his success with Tesla and SpaceX.
“I know how to turn things around. Look at what I did with electric cars and space travel. Bud Light is no different,” he tweeted.
Musk has already begun brainstorming ideas for the brand, including a new slogan that promotes responsible drinking. “How about ‘Bud Light: The perfect beer for saying ‘yes’ to moderation?'” he tweeted.
Despite some criticism of his proposal, Musk remains confident in his ability to transform the beer industry. “I know what the people want, and I think Bud Light can deliver. This is just the beginning of a new era for the brand,” he tweeted.
While it remains to be seen whether or not the acquisition will actually go through, one thing is for certain: Elon Musk is not afraid to shake things up in the business world.
