Elon Musk Changes Twitter Bio to “Get Woke, Go Broke” Following Bud Light Fiasco

In a surprising move, Twitter head Elon Musk changed his Twitter bio to “Get Woke, Go Broke” in response to the recent Bud Light fiasco.

The controversy began when Bud Light announced they would be releasing a new line of hard seltzers inspired by popular cocktails, including a margarita-flavored seltzer.

However, the announcement was met with backlash from some members of the Latinx community, who argued that the drink perpetuated harmful stereotypes.

In response, Bud Light quickly apologized and announced they would be pulling the margarita-flavored seltzer from their lineup. But for Elon Musk, this was just another example of companies bending to the will of “cancel culture.”

“Enough is enough,” Musk tweeted. “We can’t let these woke snowflakes dictate what we can and cannot enjoy. If you want to get woke, you’ll end up going broke.”

Many on Twitter were quick to criticize Musk for using his platform to dismiss the concerns of marginalized communities and promoting a culture of intolerance.

Some also pointed out that the phrase “Get Woke, Go Broke” is often used by conservative commentators to attack progressive causes and undermine social justice movements.

But for Musk, this is just another example of his commitment to free speech and his belief that companies should not bow down to political correctness.

“We need to stand up against this woke madness and defend our right to enjoy whatever drinks we want,” he tweeted. “I stand with Bud Light and their right to make whatever kind of seltzer they damn well please.”

It remains to be seen what kind of impact Musk’s bio change will have on Twitter, but it’s clear that he’s not afraid to stir up controversy and defend his beliefs, even if it means alienating some of his followers.
