In a shocking turn of events, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced that he will be making a special appearance on the popular daytime talk show, The View, to confront co-host Whoopi Goldberg over their recent Twitter feud.
The drama began when Goldberg, a vocal critic of Musk and his SpaceX program, tweeted, “Elon Musk needs to stay in his lane and stop trying to mess with space travel.
Stick to making electric cars, buddy.” Musk fired back, calling Goldberg a “fake news peddler” and accusing her of being “jealous” of his success.
The Twitter feud quickly escalated, with Goldberg accusing Musk of being “out of touch with reality” and Musk retaliating by calling Goldberg “uninformed” and “out of touch with the future.”
Now, it seems that Musk has had enough of the online squabbling and is ready to confront Goldberg face-to-face.
According to sources close to the billionaire, Musk has been practicing his debating skills in preparation for the show, and is eager to prove his superiority over the talk show host.
“I’m not afraid to go head-to-head with anyone who challenges me,” Musk reportedly said. “Whoopi Goldberg may think she knows everything about space travel, but I’ve been working in this industry for years and I know what I’m talking about.”
Goldberg, for her part, seems unfazed by Musk’s appearance on the show. “I’m not scared of Elon Musk,” she said. “I’ve dealt with plenty of arrogant men in my career, and he’s just another one. I’m ready to take him down a peg or two.”
The View producers are reportedly thrilled with the potential ratings boost that Musk’s appearance could bring, and are already planning a series of promotional segments to hype up the showdown.
