In a recent episode of The View, the hosts found themselves in a heated debate over Elon Musk’s latest tweets. The tech entrepreneur and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla have made headlines for his controversial statements and unorthodox marketing tactics, and this time was no different.

The discussion started when co-host Whoopi Goldberg brought up a tweet from Musk in which he claimed that robots would soon replace all human jobs. “What does this mean for the future of work?” she asked.

Joy Behar was quick to jump in, pointing out that Musk’s tweets often seem to be more focused on generating buzz than providing serious insights.

“I don’t think we can take anything he says seriously,” she said. “I mean, this is the same guy who tweeted that he was going to change his son’s name to X Æ A-12.”

Meghan McCain, on the other hand, was a defender of Musk’s tweets, calling them “visionary” and “inspiring”. “Elon Musk is a genius,” she said. “He’s not just changing the world, he’s changing the way we think about the world.”

Whoopi tried to steer the conversation back on track, asking the panel what they thought the implications of Musk’s tweet were for the future of the workforce.

Sunny Hostin was quick to point out that robots replacing human jobs was a concern that had been around for decades, and that it was important to consider the social and economic consequences.

The discussion became even more heated when Elon Musk himself made a surprise appearance via video call to offer his thoughts on the matter.

“I think robots will be a great boon to humanity,” he said. “They will free us from mundane tasks and allow us to pursue more creative and fulfilling work.”

The co-hosts were skeptical, with Joy Behar asking, “But what about all the people who will lose their jobs?” Elon responded with a smile, “Don’t worry, we’ll find something for them to do. Maybe they can work on Mars!”

This, of course, only served to further enrage Joy, who accused Elon of not taking the matter seriously. The discussion ended with Whoopi calling for a commercial break to calm the tensions.

In the end, the heated discussion on The View once again highlighted the divide between those who see Elon Musk as a visionary and those who see him as a madman.

Regardless of which side you fall on, one thing is for sure: Elon Musk’s tweets will continue to generate buzz and spark heated debates for years to come.
