Robert De Niro reportedly went from Hollywood legend to persona non grata after a heated confrontation at a SAG-AFTRA event ended with the veteran actor being escorted out of the building.
De Niro arrived at the event expecting the usual Hollywood treatment, but things quickly took an unexpected turn. According to people familiar with the incident, tensions began rising after a disagreement with organizers over the direction of the entertainment industry.
What started as a heated exchange allegedly became impossible to contain.
Event officials eventually approached De Niro and asked him to leave the premises. The actor reportedly refused at first, insisting that he had every right to remain at the gathering.

Yet none of that appeared to matter during the confrontation. Several attendees were reportedly left stunned by the scene, particularly because De Niro has traditionally been treated as one of the industry’s most recognizable figures.
Some allegedly viewed his outburst as arrogance, while others believed the actor was simply refusing to accept what he considered disrespect from an industry that had benefited enormously from his career. Either way, the situation quickly became the talk of the event.
De Niro has never been known for quietly backing away from a confrontation, and this incident was reportedly no different. Even while being escorted outside, he allegedly continued arguing with those around him before finally leaving the premises.
