In a recent interview with a popular magazine, Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla, revealed his thoughts on why he believes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the progressive Congresswoman from New York, will never date him.
According to Musk, who is known for his bold and sometimes controversial statements, the reason why AOC will never date him is that he is simply not “woke” enough.
Musk explained that he is more of a practical thinker, focused on solving real-world problems, rather than getting bogged down in ideological debates.
“I think AOC is a great person, and I admire her passion for social justice and climate change,” Musk said. “But when it comes down to it, I’m just not on her level when it comes to being ‘woke.’ I’m more focused on building rockets and electric cars, not trying to navigate the complex world of identity politics.”
Musk went on to say that he believes AOC is looking for someone who shares her political beliefs and is willing to be vocal about them.
“I’m not saying I don’t care about these issues,” he said. “But I’m not going to be out there on the front lines, marching in the streets and getting arrested like she is. That’s just not my style.”
The billionaire also revealed that he has made several attempts to reach out to AOC, including sending her private messages on Twitter and inviting her to visit his SpaceX facility. However, he has not received a response from the Congresswoman.
Despite the rejection, Musk remains optimistic about his chances with AOC, stating that he is willing to change his ways and become more “woke” if it means winning her heart.
“I’m always open to learning and growing,” he said. “If AOC is looking for a woke billionaire who shares her beliefs, then I’m willing to step up to the plate. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll be walking hand-in-hand at a climate protest together.”
While some may find Musk’s comments amusing, others are criticizing him for his lack of understanding of progressive politics and for reducing AOC’s political activism to “identity politics.” Only time will tell if Musk’s attempts to win over AOC will be successful, but one thing is for sure: the world will be watching.
