Elon Musk: Unusual media attention ‘super sucks’, says he’ll try to be ‘heads down focused’, help civilisation

Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, has criticized the undue attention paid to him and accused the media of leveraging his name to get “clicks.” Due to his inappropriate use of social media and controversies, the US billionaire is often in the news and serves as media fodder. “Supernova levels of attention have been paid to me, which is incredibly annoying.

Musk said on Twitter, “Unfortunately, even unimportant publications about me get a lot of attention. I’ll do my best to keep my head down and work hard to advance civilization. Musk responded to Twitter after an article in a US newspaper accused him of destroying Sergey Brin’s family life, an old friend of his. A WSJ story claims that Musk had a short liaison with Sergey Brin’s then-wife Nicole Shanahan last autumn.

Musk dismissed the claim as a “hit piece” and tweeted a photo of himself and Brin. According to a source close to her, Brin and Shanahan were living apart but together at the time of the alleged affair in December.

Several weeks after becoming aware of the affair, Brin, who wed Shanahan in 2018, filed for divorce in January, claiming “irreconcilable differences,” the paper stated. In a tweet, Musk criticized the Journal’s claim, calling it “complete bs.” “I’m friends with Sergey, and last night we went to a party together,” Sunday, Musk tweeted. “In three years, Nicole and I have only met twice, and both times, there were many other people there. Nothing sentimental.”

ASSASSINATION OF CHARACTER OVER TRUTH

It seems that the public’s animosity for Elon Musk takes precedence over the facts. This is to say that many individuals don’t appear to care about the truth. Elon Musk said that this event never occurred, and he provided photographic evidence of his relationship with Sergey Brin, according to the facts.

However, these unnamed sources that WSJ mentioned lacked even photographic proof. Or, if they did, they kept it a secret for whatever reason, which I highly doubt. Furthermore, even if the bulk of the stories has been amended or changed, the harm has already been done.

ELON MUSK PREDICTED THIS

Elon Musk foresaw this eventuality. No, he didn’t guarantee that the WSJ article would be published, but he did predict that political assaults on him would pick up in the following months.

Elon Musk has been the target of several efforts at character assassination over the last few years, despite the fact that this one isn’t political and is focused on his personal life. And the common individual is easily affected by such efforts.

CHARACTER ASSASSINATION ATTACKS AT A NEW LEVEL

Elon Musk said that this year has seen a significant increase in the character assassination attempts against him. This is accurate, and I can attest to it. He emphasized that the pieces aren’t that significant and that, in the case of the WSJ story, none of the significant individuals named were ever contacted.

Elon added another comment on this on Twitter.

He said that the level of interest in him had skyrocketed. He continued by saying that he would do his best to concentrate on following his passion for contributing to civilization.

ELON MUSK IS CONCERNED WITH CIVILIZATION AND HUMANITY

In our conversation earlier this month, Elon Musk expressed a strong desire to assist others. We discussed his work with Starlink, the Musk Foundation, and disaster aid. He said that increasing literacy is a crucial step in combating poverty. “I believe that literacy and internet access are essentially beneficial. Really, we need to think outside of the US. There are billions of people who have absolutely no access to the internet. Alternately, it may have very low bandwidth and be exorbitantly costly. This is true for many regions of the world, where there are billions of people.
