“Doing My Best To Control Underpopulation Crisis”: Elon Musk tweets after the reports of secret Twins emerge

Elon Musk is back on Twitter after a brief sabbatical, and it would seem that he is now making jokes about himself. The wealthy Tesla CEO offered a well-known perspective on the problem of diminishing birth rates, a subject he has previously brought up. The timing of Musk’s statement was noteworthy since it came one day after allegations that he had surreptitiously fathered twins with a senior executive at his neurotechnology company, Neuralink.

The world’s wealthiest man didn’t mention the news specifically, but his statement appeared to vouch for its veracity. Musk tweeted on Thursday, “Trying my best to alleviate the underpopulation situation.” “By far, the greatest threat to society is a collapse in the birth rate.” In a follow-up, he said, “Mark my words, they are terribly true.

According to a story published on Wednesday by The Daily Wire, Musk, 51, gave birth to twins in the latter months of 2017—just a few short weeks before having his second kid with Claire Boucher, a singer better known by her stage name Grimes. Shivon Zilis, 36, the youngest director on the OpenAI board of directors, gave birth to twins. According to sources from Business Insider, a petition was submitted to have Musk and Zilis’ last names included as part of their middle names.

The billionaire now claims nine children as his own, with the addition of the twins. Musk has fathered kids over the years with a number of different women, and his list of children includes Nevada Musk, Griffin Musk, Xavier Musk, Kai Musk, Saxon Musk, Damian Musk, X AE A-Xii Musk, and Exa Dark Siderael Musk.

The CEO of SpaceX is obviously concerned about population decline, while most celebrities are concerned about overpopulation. I can’t stress this enough: There aren’t enough people, Musk said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

“And I believe that the low and fast dropping birth rate is one of the greatest hazards to civilization.” The billionaire said, “And yet, so many people, even intelligent people, believe that there are too many people in the world and that the population is going out of control. It’s quite the reverse, Musk said. Please examine the figures. The population will decline if individuals don’t have more children. You have my word.
