It’s clear that Maye Musk would rather spend time with her son Elon than stay in a five-star hotel. The model and human rights activist, 74, spoke up on a range of topics in a brand-new essay for The Times in the UK, including her connection with Elon. The wealthiest man in the world, 51-year-old Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, believes that Maye has “absolutely no interest” in material possessions.
In April, Elon acknowledged that she “even doesn’t own a house right now” and lives “at friends’ locations.” Without going into any detail, Maye said that every time she travels to Texas to see her son at SpaceX’s headquarters, she must “sleep in the garage.” According to a comment that appeared in the Times UK report, she was cited as stating, “You can’t have a nice place near a rocket factory.”
