According to the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, the end of the planet is “only a matter of time.” According to the 51-year-old entrepreneur, it was an asteroid called Chicxulub that killed out the dinosaurs. He cited a BBC piece about the asteroid. It’s just a matter of time until this occurs once again “Tweeted Musk.
The 1970 theory put up by Nobel Prize-winning physicist Luis Walter Alvarez and his geologist son Walter postulated that the Chicxulub asteroid, which struck the Earth 66 million years ago and caused the mass extinction of the dinosaurs, was the primary cause of the demise of the dinosaurs. Currently being tested by Musk is his starship, which will likely take people to Mars.
