Elon Musk: I ‘Supposedly’ have COVID-19 again, Its the virus of ‘Theseus’

This was meant to be the year when the world returned to normalcy. There have been glimmers of optimism that the worst of the coronavirus epidemic, which impacted everything from shopping to dining, is behind us after two years. But every now and again, we’re reminded that Covid is unlikely to go away altogether. Covid vaccinations have been shown to be more effective at reducing illness symptoms than at preventing infection. Breakthrough cases, or individuals who become sick after getting the vaccination, do happen, although breakthrough hospitalizations are uncommon, according to Science Daily, which cites Mayo Clinic statistics.

When the coronavirus pandemic began in late February 2020, Tesla CEO Elon Musk predicted that the virus will be eradicated by April 2020. It wouldn’t be the first time Musk had a forecast that didn’t pan out. Musk’s perspective was unduly hopeful, and he contracted the virus for the first time in November of that year. Elon Musk, the billionaire and CEO of Tesla, has hired COVID-19 for the second time. On Monday, the entrepreneur disclosed that he had been “allegedly” diagnosed with the virus and that he was in “pretty decent” health.

“Theseus’ virus is called Covid-19. How many gene modifications does it take until it’s no longer Covid-19? I’m supposed to have it again (sigh), but there aren’t many symptoms this time “wrote Elon Musk, the billionaire and CEO of SpaceX.

According to CNN Business, Musk said that he tested positive for COVID-19 and was forced to quarantine before a much-anticipated SpaceX astronaut flight to the International Space Station in 2020.

Musk’s declaration came as Tesla’s vehicle facility in Shanghai, China, halted production due to a partial city lockdown imposed to control the deadly virus, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing sources familiar with the situation.

Musk, who has a net worth of $288.7 million as of Monday, according to Forbes, previously revealed that he was vaccinated in a December 2021 interview with Time, calling the science behind vaccines “unequivocal” while emphasizing his aversion to vaccine mandates.

According to Time, he stated of unvaccinated individuals, “You’re taking a risk, but people do hazardous things all the time.” “I think we must keep an eye on America’s degradation of freedom.”

Other Conflicts Between Musk and Covid

Tesla’s production plan was disrupted early in the pandemic when the state of California required the firm to shut its manufacturing there to safeguard employees from the disease.

Musk was so outspoken in his opposition to the plan that he announced in March that Tesla would be leaving California. As the authorities tried to curtail manufacturing in the early days of the coronavirus outbreak, he cited “absurd and medically unreasonable activity in violation of constitutional civil freedoms.”

Musk made good on his promise, relocating Tesla’s corporate headquarters from Silicon Valley to a massive facility in Austin that is presently under construction.
