Kanye West has returned to Twitter. One day after Elon Musk acquired control of the social media platform, Kanye’s Twitter account, which had been deactivated due to the rapper’s tweeting of anti-Semitic remarks, is back.
The rapper, who is now going by the name Ye, was banned from Twitter and Instagram last month, and the social media sites also took down some of his online writings that many had deemed to be anti-Semitic.
While West’s account has returned, the rapper hasn’t tweeted in a while, and his anti-Semitic message hasn’t been recovered.

Musk acquired control of Twitter on Thursday in a $44 billion purchase with ruthless efficiency, sacking senior executives but offering no explanation of how he plans to realize the goals he has set forth for the significant social media network.
Several well-known people have been banned from Twitter, including US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, Roger Stone, Alex Jones, and Steve Bannon.
Ye lost his status as a millionaire after labels including Balenciaga, GAP, Vogue, and Adidas severed connections with him when he proclaimed war on Jews.
Musk fires Twitter’s top executives
Musk purchased the business on Thursday night. The social media platform entered a new phase when Musk turned Twitter into a private corporation and removed the CEO, CFO, and top lawyer.
Musk wrote: “The reason I purchased Twitter is that I believe it is critical for the future of civilization to have a shared digital town square, where a broad variety of opinions can be contested in a constructive way.
Twitter wouldn’t turn into a “free-for-all hellscape where anything can be uttered without repercussions,” he said.
Musk did, however, add that he wished for the platform to provide users with a “desired experience” depending on their tastes, much like the options available in movies and video games.

Many have questioned if Musk’s vision would include restoring the account restriction imposed on former President Donald Trump following the capitol uprising, which was halted permanently.
On Friday, Trump expressed his relief at the fact that the “radical left lunatics and maniacs” who had been running Twitter would no longer be in charge in a post on Truth Social.
Trump’s removal from the network was decided upon in large part thanks to Vijaya Gadde, the senior Twitter attorney sacked by Musk.
