Elon Musk, the ruler of Twitter, maybe quit his position there in the near future, but there is still proof of his ongoing connection with the social media platform.
The famous horror novelist Stephen King is the target of a large two and half-billion-dollar lawsuit that Musk recently filed in the tenth circuit court.
The lawsuit accuses the creator of Cujo of harassment and claims that King’s purportedly “wry” and satirical articles criticizing Musk’s leadership of Twitter were written with “serious and negative attitudes” that hurt the company’s bottom line and stockholders.
According to senior Musk lawyer Joe Konders, “Mr. Musk is quite furious with Mr. King’s comments questioning his management style and actions as CEO of the firm.”
He brought this significant lawsuit as a deterrent and a measure of compensation.
However, King responded with a typical tweet of his own in the face of the outrage.
The hidden insult was not immediately addressed by Musk; instead, he added an additional $100,000,000 to the lawsuit. This now takes the amount to $100,000,000 plus whatever I initially indicated.
Including this lawsuit, Tesla Teapartyr has now filed legal action against eight different persons (or seven if you include Alissa Milano seven times). That much retribution is a lot for someone who essentially poured billions of dollars into a bottomless hole.
