Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has responded to a tweet claiming to reveal a hidden tape of a Twitter official discussing why the microblogging service isn’t profitable and internal opposition to Mr. Musk’s purchase proposal. “Mr. Musk has Asperger’s Syndrome… So, he’s unique… I’m like, you’re special needs (Mr. Musk)—you’re genuinely special needs… So I can’t take what you’re saying (Mr Musk) seriously “Project Veritas, an American far-right activist organization, identified the Twitter executive as Twitter Lead Client Partner Alex Martinez.

Benny Johnson, who calls himself the “Godfather of the Conservative Internet” and has millions of followers across his social media sites, tweeted the video. For his statement, Mr. Johnson tagged Tesla CEO Elon Musk in a video tweet. “Twitter exec destroying free speech and ridiculing folks with Asperger’s,” Mr. Musk said.

According to the employee in the video, Twitter isn’t lucrative due to its woke mindset, and the firm tends to provide individuals with the “right” viewpoints. In the video, Mr. Martinez also criticizes Mr. Musk’s views on free speech on the platform, stating, “the rest of us who have been here believing in something that is beneficial for the globe, not only to allow individuals free speech.” “If you don’t put out — accurate things that are intended to be out in the public, right?” “People don’t know how to make a sensible choice,” he stated.

The new video comes a day after a guy identified as a Twitter senior engineer said that the firm does not believe in free speech and that employees “detest” Mr. Musk’s $44 billion takeover proposal. The Tesla CEO has said that he would not continue with the Twitter acquisition unless he receives confirmation of the number of spam accounts that have plagued the site, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his roller-coaster pursuit of the social media behemoth.

This recent development fueled rumors that the world’s wealthiest person was attempting to lower the price or perhaps walk away from the transaction.

Mr. Musk pressed for further details on Tuesday, writing to his almost 94 million Twitter followers: “The CEO of Twitter openly refused to disclose evidence of 5% yesterday. Until he does, the agreement cannot go ahead.” According to Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, the network suspends more than 500,000 allegedly fake accounts every day, generally before they are ever discovered, and locks millions more every week that fail tests to ensure they are operated by people rather than machines.
